Easter weekend

Easter Sunday was full of chocolate and family- along with some super cute socks- we had a lovely lamb roast and lots of laughter.

On Easter Monday we went to Parham house, I had a lovely time exploring the grounds and seeing the chicks - they are super adorable. It was lovely that the sun was shining, it definitely makes everything better!

A week of food and a birthday

On Sunday Chris finally had a day off so after we moved some wardrobes around at home we treated ourselves to a Sunday roast down the pub. It was super lush and nice not to do the washing up.

On Tuesday I went to dinner with Juliette. I hadn't seen her in ages so it was lovely to finally catch up while she is back down here. We talked, laughed and ate way too much food. 

It was my mums birthday on Today, I baked her a cake (which was slightly lob sided) but tasted lovely. We went out for a shopping trip and I brought a new house plant which I'm going to try not to kill! My previous track record isn't brilliant. It was a pretty nice day.
